1968 Press Photo Trifoil - a cathedral hulled Boat - Claims To be Unsinkable

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Unsinkable Boat Demonstrated. Demonstrations took place on the Thames in London of the Trifoil - a cathedral hulled boat - that is to say it has three hulls - and which is completely unsinkable. The design of the Trifoil gives the very maximum of usable space for fishing, sunbathing, diving, transport, rescue work, etc. You can step ashore over the bow and keep your feet dry, or water ski without any risk of a capsize when you help the skier to climb back aboard over the side. The Trifoil is manufactured in Norway. Keystone Photo Shows:- The unsinkable Trifoil pictured during demonstration on the Thames.

Photo measures 10 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 03-03-1968.
