1957 Press Photo NATO Traffic Signs Posted At All Bridges Crossing Rhine Rivr

Unknown traffic signs - are recently posted at all bridges crossing the Rhine River. After tests arranged by the NATO-officials loading capacities of these bridges were stated on the signs telling the weight of trucks and tanks which are permitted to pass these bridges. Civilian vehicles however do not have to care for these signs. Keystone Picture of Jan 1st 57
