A new "singing" wheels traffic sing has just been installed along the Autobhan Gieben-Dortmund. The sing, developed by the Hessian ministry for Economy and Technique, indicates to car drivers that the "music" arises from the cross-grooves which have been milled into the roadway to prevent aquaplaning - and there is no need for alarm.
