From Farmer To Soldier: Free Distribution Of Peaches: 20 tons of peaches sent to Paris from various regions of France were distributed to soldiers who took part in the traditional Bastille day parade yesterday. The free distribution of peaches was decided by farmers as a means of drawing the public attention to the overproduction resulting in a sharp drop of prices. Photo shows Soldiers enjoying a well deserved hearty meal with Peaches and Champagne as a desert
