Snowstorm Sweeps the South.: Many parts of south and south-west England and South Wales had snow and near-freezing temperatures when freak weather conditions suddenly turned spring into winter yesterday. Photo shows freak weather commentary yesterday from farm workers Mr. Frederick Edwards putting hay out for cattle in snow-covered fields near Barrow Gurney, North Somerset.
