They Call Him Their "Cupid": Two weeks after the Webwear factory - opened at Craghead, County Durham - Mr. William Wicks was married. He started the sequence - since when between 30 and 40 staff members have been married every year from the factory. This year their are 13 "beat-the-tax" brides who are to leave their machines for a fortnight 'shoneymoon and return with a chance to make up for lost time. In this picture ten of the brides-to-be throw a heart around their "Cupid" Mr. William Wicks who is no 45.
