Guards march through the city: The 2nd. Battalion, Grenadier Guards, arrived at Liverpool-street Station this morning, from Germany, where they have been relieved by the 2nd. Batt. Coldstream Guards. The Grenadier Guards exercised their privilege of marching through the City with colours flying and bayonets fixed, on their way to Chelsea Barracks. Photo shows Lt. Col. C. Earle, the Commanding Officer, 2nd. Batt. Grenadier Guards - (left) - asking permission from the City Morshell, Col. J.H. Taylor, for the battalion to march through the city.
