"Hung aground x" - three service demonstration. Waterproofed centurion tank. More than 1,000 men are taking part in "Runaround x" the amphibious demonstration- at Eastney, Portsmouth today. The demonstration is designed to shows Staff college students some of the problems of amphibious operations - and includes helicopter assault - seaborne landing and cliff assault. photo shows a four wheeled army runabout - which has been waterproofed - undergoes its tests during the operation today.
