Birds and dogs at audition. Owners of talking birds and performing dogs converged on London weekend's station house, Wembley, headquarters today in answer to a Times newspaper advert. They were auditioning in the hope of appertaining on London weekend's new Saturday evening programme Russell Harty plus. Announcing the 'Joyleen Barraclough award for greatness ', Russell harty said he was looking for the dog with the most outrageous, sensitive and cheeky personality and for the most loquacious and urbane tailing bird. photo shows "Toby" - a cross between spaniel and poodle- and called a "Spoodle" by its owner - pictured at wembely prior to the auditioning today.
