1958 Press Photo Veda Appleton On Walk With Crippled Samoyed Dog Susie Cradle

Mrs. Appleton and her crippled Dog "Susie". Mrs. Vera Appleton was to be seen with her Samoyed dog Susie yesterday - taking her for a walk in a wheeled cradle. Mrs. Appleton, of Forest Hill has been nursing 'Susie' for about a year - after the dog had collapsed from a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Appleton owns a pet shop and was determined that 'Susie' could recover - and has been training her to walk again - with the aid of the support. She hopes to be able to dispense with the support soon - when Susie is back to normal. Photo shows:- Mrs. Appleton with 'Susie' in the wheeled cradle.
