Description
How About A Nice Tasty Piece Of Snake?: Ever eaten snake? Does the idea nauseate you? Well go to Tokyo where a nice bit of grilled snake is locked as one of the gourmet's delights. We think to eat snake is rather horrible, but the Japanese, who eat it and like it, say 'You eat eels and think nothing of it, and after all the all the eel is only the snake of the sea". The Fukuchan restaurant in Tokyo serves only snakes, including vipers, adders from Northern Japan. Snakes blood is full of vitamins and hormones and is drunk fresh from the snake when the head is cut off. A nice striped "Aodausho' grilled over charcoal, costs 350 yen (about one U.S.dollar or seven shillings) this includes a small glass of snake, the liver and kidneys. The dainty morsels of snake carefully skewered are place on a grill ready for cooking. The liver and kidneys are included.

Photo measures 8.25 x 6 inches.
