"Goldie" - Zoo Eagle - Captured At Last. After Twelve Days Of Freedom: "Goldie" the Zoo Eagle which has been flying around London after escaping from his London Zoo wage last Friday week was captured this morning at 6-15 a.m. After twelve days of freedom - he was back in his cage. Zoo keepers trapped him when he came down to feed off a rabbit - set for him as bait. Photo shows "Goldie" on right with his mate on being returned to his cage at the London Zoo this morning.
