The little ones already change their colour.: A happy event at the Meyer family in Nuremberg: seven little chameleons were born. Hans Meyer's hobby is a carefully kept, large terrerium whose jewel is a chameleon couple, imported from South Africa 1/2 year ago. They are dwarf-chameleons which are 12cm long when they are grown up. As soon as the old ones notice that the little ones can take care of themselves, they leave them to themselves. With a quick tongue, the young provide for themselves everything necessary. - Even the very small chameleons change - according to their surroundings - their colour. Hans Meyer may be proud as only very seldom chameleons have youngs in imprisonment. It proves that Hans Meyer knows something about his hobby and that the animals feel themselves at home in his terrarium.
