1962 Press Photo Wolfgang Holzapfel Hunger Strike-Gunter Litfin Memorial Berlin

A 18 years old student from West Germany starts a three days hunger and sitting strike on 02.10.62. His sitting strike shall be a protest against the wall of Berlin. 18 years old Wolfgang Holzapfel will sit all the days near by the memorial point of GunterLitfin, which was shooten death by his escape from East Berlin to West Berlin on 24.08.1961. Photo shows Wolfgang Holzapfel on the first day of his three days strike.
