East Berlin evacuates border buildings: The soviet zone police today started to evacuate the houses along the border line in the Neukolln area. About 250 families had to leave their homes. Photo shows a mail-messenger (center) with the last mail for the evacuated people. She stares unbelievingly on the scene where police watches the houseware to be brought away on trucks.
