A Thousand Children Faint From The Heat - When Queen Visited "Elizabeth - NR. Adelaide: It was estimated that something like a thousand children collapsed from the heat - when the Queen paid a visit to Adelaide - during the Australian tour. More than 65,000 Australian children gathered at the Victor a Park Racecourse to see the Queen. Photo shows Ambulance men carry off one of the many heat victims - at the Ridley Reserve, Elizabeth - during the Royal visit.
