Paintings Of Japanese Looking European And American Politicians: Inspired by the Tokyo Summit (who took place at the end of June 79). Sumiko Kudo (picture) made these unusual paintings of the top-politicians participating there. The Japanese artist, living in Munich/West Germany, painted the Heads of State and Government - like American President Jimmy Carter, French President of State Giscard d'Estating (in front), British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt (behind) - looking Japanese.
