Hungary's Kossuth Coat-of arms replaced by Soviet Star! The Kossuth coat-of-arms which became symbol of freedom during last year's anti-Communist uprising in Hungary, has now been replaced by a new symbol-by order of the Kadar regime. Explaining the introduction of this Soviet symbol, the Communists said: "The Kossuth coat-of-arms introduced during the "counter-revolution" does not represent the character of our Worker's and Peasant's State." Photo shows The new coat-of-arms embraced by white ears of corn. In its centre is on blue ground a crest with Hungary's wed-white and green national colours. It is topped by a Red Soviet star.
