Description
The handless clock in Brussels; The roof of the Palais des Congres in Brussels has a new look a huge bell and its ringer stands at the edge overlooking a vast sundial. The Ringer - obviously a city gentlemen with plenty of poise and breeding taps the ball gently with his cane on the hour. This gesture brings out the twelve figures from their riches around the clock dial. In between times while waiting for the figures and their pointers to emerge - the sunrays and the numbers on the clock are gilded and re gilded - glowing according to the time. Photo Shows: View of the clock with the 'City Gent' on top ready to tap the bell - according to the time. The number - glow according to the time the clock has no hands.
