Oxford Boat race crew in new outfits: The Oxford University boat-race crew were seen for the first time in their new look Hardy Amies styles outfits, when they took to the towapth at Putney today. The outfits have been tailored and donated to the Oxford Boat Club by Hepworths, multiple tailors, Hardy Amies was asked to update their traditional blazers, made of heavy blanket cloth and their white flannels. Instead, the world's most fashionably dressed oarsmen will wear - by the river - medium weight Oxford Blue blazers wool worsted Oxford 'bags' with single pleats, narrow 1" waist belts and 25" bottoms with deep turns ups. They will be worn with 7 feet long Oxford blue embroidered scarves and open necked white shirts. Photo Shows The Oxford crew pictured in their new outfits on the towpath at Putney today.
