First Nike-Basis In West-Germany: On July 15th, in Gossachenim in the district of Ludwig burg the first place bounbd Nike-Ajax-basis of the American Army in West Germany was established. In the presence of brigade general Peter Schmick (Peter Schmick) and a number of Prominent, Commander of the army-district V, the German major-general Freiherr Von Liebenstein (Freiheer Von Liebenstein) cut through the lack white red band which symbolical bartered the way to the rocket-basis (next to him in the right with hat - is senior civil servant Dr. Robert Thuma (Thuma) as representative of the government of the six German state Baden Wurttemberg).
