Press Photo Malcolm Mitchel Station Ranger Tries To Help Drowning Cormorants

Malcolm Mitchel, a station ranger tries in vain to help the downing Cormorants by hauling them out of the conrete tank, where they come to drink the only fresh water in 20 miles of the lake. Using a wire noose, Malcolm is sometimes successful but even once saved they come back next perhaps not so lucky to have Malcolm around and die.
