American convoy was held up by Soviets at Marienborn - The four American lorreys which have been kept at the control point at Marienborn since Feb. 2nd, 1959 (About 80 meters from the border) still could not go on today (Feb. 4th) into the Western zone of Germany. Negotiations between officers of the American and the Soviets were without success. OPS: A Soviet officer for negotiations and his interpreter (right) leave the checkpoint Helmstedt, followed by western correspondents.
