Trying to solve a space problem.: The parents of baby Sarah Lachat live in a vary expensive but small apartment in Geneva. And with limited space available, Sarah's father, Marcel Lachat had an idea for enlargement. He built an egg-shaped 'bubble' of polyester material, weighing 660lbs and had it fixed, following a 'certificate of safety' from experts, to the front window of his second - storey flat, and his wife made it into a baby room for little Sarah. But, there was a snag. Police super intended Jacques Bory said that it would have to be removed. Photo shows the interior of the 'igloo' which Marcel Lacht had fixed to the front of his second - storey flat in Geneva.

Photo measures 9.5 x 7.25 inches.

Photo is dated 12-16-1970.
