Ship Museum shaped line the ''Q.E.2'': A Maritime Science Museum in the shape of the liner ''Queen Elizabeth II'', is being built on reclaimed land in the Koto Ward of Tokyo, by the Japan Maritime Science Promotion Foundation at a coast of Y3,300 million (about £4 million). The ship-like building, 21-0 m long, 26, wide and 70m high (to the top of the mast) is comparable to the 60,000 ton liner ''Queen Elizabeth II''. The museum which will house models of every type of ship, including hovercraft, electro-magnetic propulsion ships, nuclear powered vessels, as well s old time craft, will be completed next November, and for ally opened in 1973. Photo shows the gigantic ship-like Maritime Science Museum, nearing completion in Tokyo.
