A carrying part - these women from Maroua/Northern Kamerun are playing. On the large cotton fields the harvest is nearly done. To do this work not machines are used, the cotton is picked up only with hands and carried in big baskets to the collecting point. Light-footed and playful, the women walked and balanced the heaviest sumpters on their heads; nevertheless it is a hard work they do during the day.
