Plaque Unveiled In Budapest In Honour Of Laszlo Rajk, Outstanding Figure Of The Communist Movement: After a decision by the Budapest Municipal Council to rename Pannonia Street in the 13th district of the capital Rajk Laszlo Street, on the 60th anniversary of the birth of Laszlo Rajk, a leading figure of the Hungarian and International Communist Movement, a plaque was unveiled in his memory. Laszlo Rajk was executed in 1949 after trial and conviction on the basis of fabricated charges during the period of the personality cult.
