Plaque Unveiled In Budapest In Honour Of Laszlo Rajk, Outstanding Figure Of The Communist Movement: After a decision by the Budapest Municipal Council to rename Pannonia Street in the 13th district of the capital Rajk Laszlo Street, on the 60th anniversary of the birth of Laszlo Rajk, a leading figure of the Hungarian and International Communist Movement, a plaque was unveiled in his memory. Laszlo Rajk was executed in 1949 after trial and conviction on the basis of fabricated charges during the period of the personality cult. Photo shows Istavan Sarlos, President of the Executive Committee of the Council, delivering his commemorating speech
