One of the oldest synagogue of Europe recently unearthed in budapest : During the restoration works of the Buda castle in Budapest, ruins of a Jewish synagogue of the 15th century have been uncharted by experts in the court of a house in a street of Bada. This Jewish synagogue of middle ages, built in 1461 A.C. has historical and constructed value of European soals. It has two naves and was built in Gothic style. After the completion of the restoration works, the ancient synagogue will be open for visitors. Photo shows Archeologists Akes Csepany and Jozskf mark measuring the pillars of the synagogue in Budapest.
