Festival of the Rose.: It is a tradition in Bulgaria to hold every year on the First of June a national Festival of the Rose. The festival takes place in the town of Karlovo,situated in the centre of the famous Bulgarian Rose Valley. The festivities honour the Rose as a symbol of Beauty, Youth and Love. Photo shows girls in national costumes in the rose plantations near the town of Korlovo, Rose Valley.
