Huge Naval gun outside Imperial War Museum: View showing the huge 15-inch naval gun - one of two acquired by the Imperial war Museum - which are being mounted at the front entrance to the Museum. This gun was, from 1915 to 1938 mounted on H.M.S. Resolution~. It was then mounted aboard H.M.S. Roberts, where it fire it's first shots in anger on D-Day when it formed ~~~of the Houlgate Battery, Sword Beach, Normandy. Information on the sheet is torn
