Wintry weather in the Netherlands: Many areas of the Netherlands have - in common with most of the rest of Europe - been experiencing long spells of bitterly cold weather and this picture - which comes from the Suidersea - shows a young mountain of ice - piled up against the dike... The inhabitants of the village behind the dike are worried - lost the ice breaks over the top - and damages their homes.
