Sandringham House to be open to the public: Sandringham House bought by Edward VII as a family home when his children were young and new used by the Royal family as an informal country residence. It will be open to the public for the first time on May 3rd, 1977. Photo shows a screen filled with pictures of many famous public figures in the main drawing room at Sandringham House, Norfolk.
