World Christmas Festival In Salzburg. Youth From Holland Take Part: One hundred and Twenty delegates from thirteen countries are assembled in Salzburg and Oberndorf to celebrate the first world - wide Christmas Festival of the "Friendship among Children and Youth" organisation. The organisation has its headquarters in New York and was established in 1945 and its aim is to deepen the international friendship among juveniles throughout the world. Up to date American boys and girls have presented over Three Million Christmas gifts for children in Europe. Besides Germany - the countries represented in the festival includes Norway -Denmark-Sweden-Finland-England-France - Holland - Switzerland - Italy- Yugoslavia - Greece-India and the United States. Photo shows Children from Holland take part in the ceremonies which opened the festival of International Youth at Salzburg.
