The Netherlands celebrates Easter traditional bonfire Ceremonies: In East Netherlands the whole population of the villages make a traditional trek into the woods to search for and cut down a huge tree, which they pull through the village streets and then with the aid of a barrel of tar - the tree is set on fire and the villagers join in dances and merry making in general all part of the Easter ceremonies of Holland. Photo shows the tree is dragged through the streets of the village or the Easter Bonfire.
