Description
Wild Pigs Victim of Drought: Wild pigs, kangaroos and emus are victims together with sheep and cattle in the worst drought in the states history. At Rosscommon. a 22,000 acre property owned by Mr. Michale Coleman in the North Western NSW, a wild pig tries to get under a wire fence around a dam fast drying up by the drought.... in an effort to get to the water. But the pig is a scourge and a menace and had to be shot. In the past two days, wild pigs attacked flock of sheep at Rosscommon, tearing their inside out, in an effect to get food. They pig up the edges of dams, causing sheep and cattle to bog, and die. They drink as much water as sheep. Here the pig is approached cautiously and is shot.
