Shaking hands?
Wrong guess, for the Brazilian woman pictured here at left is actually practicing chiromancy. Just a little off world famous beach in Rio de Janeiro where at the same time the disciples of the Macumba perform their New Year's rite, this fortune teller is practicing palmistry. Surely she is clever enough to tell mainly the pleasant things people who turn to her are expecting.This way she is not having any troubles finding customers again and again. Especially at the turn of the years the curious and superstitious ones think it appropriate to turn to chiromancy.
