A Wall divides Poor and Rich A solid concrete wall has been built in Trier, Germany to divide two contrasting living quarters. While on the one side (left in photo) new apartment houses are under construction, the other side covered with a shattered old caserne, which - though the "German wonder" - are used as living quarters by a great number of poor families. As officials stated, had the wall been built for "security reasons". It will only be broken down again when the poor ones find other quarters.

Photo measures 8.5 x 6 inches.

Photo is dated --none.
