Description
The Rhine is full again: Not many weeks ago there was anxiety about the near drought conditions which prevailed. There was only a tired stream of water in the centre of the riverbed. But since then the situation has suddenly changed. After the heavy rainfall of the last few days, the Rhine water level has risen fast. The water level in Coblens, for instance, has risen nearly three metres. Photo shows The "DeutschesEck" ( German corner) in Coblenz (the junction of the Mossells and the Rhine) showing the flooded riverside path.

Photo measures 8.75 x 6.5 inches.

Photo is dated 11-21-1972.
