16-6-64 American beef on show at Smithfield - A cargo of 46 quarters of United States chilled beef weighing 7,000 lbs. has been shipped from America to be exhibited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the American Meat Institute at London's Smithfield meat market in an effort to develop new markets for American products.
