TRANS-SAHARA/SAILING ON SAND YACHTS PROM COLOMP-BECHAR (ALGERIA) TO MO"AKCHOTTIMA,TRETANTA,
On February 12, 1967 twelve send yachts will start for a Trans-Sahara sailing from Colomb-Bechar to Nouakchott to be piloted by 24 participants to alternate. About one month is planned for the trip.of 2500 Kilometers through the "Reg", the "Hammadas", the "dunes" and sometimes even on paved routes. Starting are 7 Englishmen, 3 Americans, 3 Dutch, A Dane, 7 Frenchmen, and one French girl.
