Yacht Owner To Have Entered Into A Pact To Murder Ex-Wife's Husband: Derek Howard Wright, yacht owner was alleged at Bow Street yesterday to have entered into a pact with a man to murder his ex-wife's new husband - and then to have found that the "willing killer" was a Scotland Yard officer acting under orders. Evidence was given by Detective Sgt. France Da Vies of the Flying Squad - who was the "Willing Killer". He said he and Wright had a long conversation - the substance of which was that he should go to Stratford-on-Avon and arranged a motor accident and thereby kill a man named James Byrne. He added that Byrne was the husband of Wright's former wife. He said that Wright gave him five ~1 notes and half of a torn check for ~150. Wright was remanded.
