Mrs. E.M. Payne has baked the hare pie for the Hellator bottle kickers for 10 years now. It contains hare, potatoes and onions and weighs 20 lbs. It costs 1 although last year is was only 17/6 and 100 years ago the charge was 7/-. Helping Mrs. Payne at the oven in her cottage is 12-year-old June Stamp.
