The new Figure of H.R.H. The bodice has a boat-shaped neckline and is accentuated by a bow. The New Royal Group at Madame Tussaud's: Latest attraction, ready for the Summer Season when thousands for foreign visitors explore its rooms filled with wax figures of the famous of the past and the present is a new group of Royal figures. Other of these is that of Her Majesty the Queen wearing the full robes of the Sovereign of the Most Noble Order of the Carter. The Queen's permission had to be obtained to do this. Other royal figures are those of Princess Margaret, The Queen Mother, the Princess Royal and the Duchess of Gloucester. Norman Hartnell made the dresses of all the royal figures except that of the Queen. Her robe was made by Miss J.Bertrand, Wardrobe Mistress at Tussaud's. The jewellry, specially made for the royal figures, cost £ 5,000 and is all based on actual jewelry worn on State occasions. The Carter robe worn by the Queen, as distinct from the gown beneath, was made, perfect in every detail, by Adeney and Boutroy. It is generally considered that the royal figures are remarkable likeness, and will give to all who see them, an unrivalled chance to feel they are "in on a royal occasion", and have a close look at the royal family.
