War on Shoplifters: T.V. to detect thieves: Printemps, the famous Paris department store, has now a new device to fight shoplifting. A small T.V. camera is camouflaged among the goods in the store. It is connected with a receiver installed in a cabin. A special detective observes on the screen of the receiver all that is going on in the different departments and reports at once anything 'Fishy' he sees in the store. Photo shows a partial view of the store. The black circle in the middle of the White box on top of a shelf is the hidden camera.
