Cop's Invention spotlights forgeries.: A British policeman has invented a forgery detector that does away with the expensive method of photographing the signature on an infrared plate. Called the Evans Infra-Red Viewer, the instrument is made up of a system of filters and lenses contained in a long box and a 500 watt photoflood lamp with an internal mirror reflector.
