14-10-58 Velour Tricorne hat for the life peeresses. Weighs only four ounces - A new style hat has been designed for wear by the four new Life Peeresses when they enter Parliament later this month. The hat is a velour tricorne designed by Ede and Ravenscroft Ltd., of London. Made of lightweight velour the hat weighs no more than 4 oz. The only decoration is a rosette of gold lace with a small button of gold sequins in the centre. Keystone Photo Shows: The new hat designed for the Life Peeresses seen in London this afternoon.
