"The Great Bear Show" Will Be One Of The Attractions At The Coming "Oktoberfest" In Munich: A real attraction, although the "actors" are not so "real", will probably be the "Great Bear Show" at the coming "Oktoberfest" in Munich. 29 bears, none of them smaller than 2.10 dressed in various Bavarian costumes will perform a varied show like playing music on instruments like drums, zither, trumpet etc., furthermore singing and dancing (even the difficult Bavarian dances) as well as many other things. The "actors" are being guided by a computer to which they are connected by 3 km long plastic pipes. The showman who is in charge of this bear show had seen the plastic bears in the United States where they were a big success and decided to import the idea to Germany. The "Oktoberfest" takes place from Sept. 20 to Oct. 5, 1975.
