Cable Railway Supplies Cattle on Alpine Pasture with water: The cable railway running to the 1365 mtrs high Alpine pasture " Hochriess" at Upper Bavaria does a good job to the cattle grazing there. Since the only pond at the pasture has dried out because of the heat thew cable railway now brings water up in special container five time a day. Considering, how many cows in these days have to be slaughtered because of lack of water and food, these cows at the Alpine pasture have reason enough to appreciate the precious water which bubbles from such a complicated source (picture).
