All signals are on "Ha-It!": Western Berlins great trunk stations are more and more ruined and destroyed as the Soviets ordered. Formerly they were going from here to Geneva, Rome, Basle, Paris and Zakopane from the three great Berlin stations. Anhalter, Lehrter and Goerlitzer Bahnhof (station) Now they are empty and deserted, no trains are starting any more for years. All signals are on "Halt!" and weed is growing on the platforms and between the tracks. Signboards read that this area is off limits and that trepassers will be fined at one with 150, -- Germanmarks. The reporter had to climb over fences and walls until he was able to make the snapshots. But everywhere still workers of the East zonal "Reichbahndirektion" (rail-way administration are present to find out one of the "provocateurs" who will show the truth. A note written with chalk at the station says that there is no more railway communication since May 18th, 1952
