Description
Is the Rothschild treasure hidden in Berlin caserne?: A berling tailor told the police that he knew where members of the SS in the last days of April 1945 buried the treasure of the Rothschild family of Paris, consisting of Jewellery, brilliants and gold. The tailor said, that the treasure is hidden in the basement on top of which now stands the building of the Headquarters Company, the American Andrew in Berling-Lichterfelde. Investigations are rather difficult as the building above that basement was completely destroyed, and the Americans had just filled up the cellar and build the new building on top of it. Photo shows. the arrow is pointing out the place where about the treasure (its value is supposed to be 15 million D-Marks) is said to be hidden.

Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches.

Photo is dated 2-11-1960.
